Every time THC finds himself thinking "you know, the 1970s weren't really
that bad" reality brings him crashing back to Earth. Case in point: this performance of
Sylvia's Mother by
Dr Hook & The Medicine Show (though some would say the mere existence of this 1972 hit, which reached #5 on the Billboard singles chart in the U.S., #3 in the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland, #2 in the U.K. and Canada, and #1 in Ireland and Australia, is sufficient proof even without the video). THC leaves it to you, dear reader, to listen and decide.
