Continuing with our car theme from yesterday, this is the best car chase scene in a movie. Even if you don't agree you can't dispute it's the best "car chasing an elevated subway train" scene in a movie. From The French Connection (1971). New York City has that grimy look it had throughout the 60s and 70s.
This is William Friedkin, the director, telling some great stories about the filming of the scene. Who knows, maybe they're even true.
