Something I doubted I'd ever see. Emirates Airlines, the carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has started direct jet service to Israel. Things are really changing in the Middle East. Rivalries and alliances are being recalibrated. Wonderful to see.
I've flown Emirates twice to India and it is an excellent carrier, new aircraft, great service. Both times I transferred planes in Dubai and being in that terminal for several hours was quite an experience as planes arrive from all over the world and an astonishing variety of passengers disembark and make their way to connecting flights.Touchdown.
