237 years ago today the British came for our guns and our liberty.  We didn't like that.  Early in the morning, the shot heard round the world was fired on the Lexington Green.  Later that day, the Minutemen launched their counterattack at the Old North Bridge in Concord.  Recommend reading Paul Revere's Ride by David Hackett Fisher for the best account of the day (and the day before).
